As a graduate of a technical university in Myanmar, I worked as a site manager at an electrical contracting company in my home country. Although work styles differ slightly between Myanmar and Japan, the experience I gained during that year has proven useful. I learned about Tokyo Thermal through information available in Myanmar. Since I was also interested in HVAC, plumbing, and piping, I took the plunge and came to Japan hoping to work in a technical position. I can no longer imagine living without air conditioning. I work hard because I want to help create comfortable living environments through air conditioning.

I’m from a region in Myanmar where the winter gets as cold as it does in Japan. After graduating from university, I studied Japanese with the goal of working for a Japanese company. Although I majored in electrical engineering, I’m currently working in the plumbing field, handling tasks such as replacing hot water supply pipes.
Every day, I struggle with a workplace full of technical jargon, wrestling with kanji in documents and communicating in Japanese. But what keeps me going is my strong determination to be involved in infrastructure facilities that are kind to both the global environment and people. Looking ahead, I want to continue contributing to our customers as a valuable member of the Tokyo Thermal team.
