Initiatives to prevent harassment in recruitment activities
[Basic Policy on Recruitment Activities]
Tokyo Thermal respects human rights in its business activities and strives to ensure that it does not contribute to human rights violations. We prohibit all forms of employment discrimination and harassment in our recruitment activities.
In addition to strictly prohibiting discrimination based on employment status, age, gender, place of origin, ancestry, nationality, disability, religion, beliefs, marital status, or other such factors, we do not tolerate any form of harassment, including power harassment, sexual harassment, and "Owahara," which involves pressuring job seekers to withdraw from or end their job search and interferes with their freedom to choose their employment.
[Specific Initiatives]
We have established the following rules to prevent harassment when employees interact with job seekers.
- Meetings with job seekers should be scheduled during daytime hours whenever possible and conducted in an environment where other people are present.
- One-on-one meals or drinks with job seekers are prohibited.
- If a job seeker requests a private meeting, it should, as a general rule, be conducted online.
